We love pure water as much as we love clean oceans. We strive to treat and bring the best water to our customers in the way that is also best for the environment. Our mission is to provide premium and alkaline water at a reasonable price with eco-friendly solutions using local production and local distribution.
We want to diminish plastic consumption and reduce the environmental footprint of the water industry. We put all our efforts into keeping people hydrated with the best water. We strive to reinvent the bulk water business and because our learning never stops, we have a longer-term goal: to help communities without access to clean water.
In 1982, Jorge and Gloria Ardila founded Aguacol in Colombia a water treatment engineering company dedicated to solving potable water, wastewater, and industrial water challenges. For four decades, Aguacol built a reputation for technical excellence across Latin America.
The Ardila family didn’t just work in water. They lived it. Swimming, the ocean, water conservation a genuine passion that went far beyond the engineering. When the opportunity to expand to the United States emerged at a WEFTEC water industry expo, the decision was straightforward: take four decades of expertise and build something new in a market that was ready for it.
In 2012, Andrea Ardila , daughter, industrial designer, and entrepreneur moved to Los Angeles and founded Aguacol USA Corporation. Not as a branch office. As a full business build from zero, in a new country, with a new product category: premium water vending.

Andrea is not a water engineer and that’s exactly what makes her perspective valuable. With a university degree in industrial design and a background in business creation and product development, she approached the US water vending market as a designer and entrepreneur, not a technician. She asked different questions, made different decisions, and built a different kind of company.
Born and raised in Colombia, Andrea came to Los Angeles with a clear mission: take the engineering heritage of a 40-year family business and build something the US market had never seen a premium, design-forward, certified water vending brand that operators and consumers could both be proud of.
Over more than a decade leading Aguacol USA, Andrea personally navigated the California licensing process, negotiated placements with major retailers, designed the operational frameworks, and built the team and supply chain that now supports hundreds of machines across three continents. She is actively involved in every client consulting engagement and brings hands-on operational knowledge that no generalist consultant can replicate.
Outside the business, Andrea is the same person she is in it passionate about water in every form. The ocean, swimming, conservation. The belief that water is life, and that treating it well is both a business obligation and a personal one.
An automatic machine won’t answer your calls. We love our customers, we know their stories and why they need to be hydrated. We are water and we love to flow like it, but more importantly, we make it flow for you.
